The True Country Club Experience
The tradition of the true country club experience began in Ames, Iowa, in 1911, when Ames Golf & Country Club was established. Originally located just south of the city, the club began as a 9-hole golf course complete with a clubhouse and swimming pool.
Today, Ames Golf & Country Club spans 164 beautiful acres just north of Ames and offers a premier setting for golf, recreation, dining, and connection. Following a major renovation in 2018, the club continues to blend its rich history with modern amenities and exceptional experiences.
Members enjoy an impeccably maintained 18-hole golf course, a heated swimming pool featuring zero-depth entry, two pickleball courts, a tennis court, a year-round TrackMan golf simulator, and a welcoming clubhouse that serves as the heart of the club.
