The True Country Club Experience first came to Ames, Iowa in 1911. That’s when the Ames Golf & Country Club debuted, originally a 9-hole course with a clubhouse and swimming pool, located just south of the city.
These days, the club sits upon 164 gorgeous acres just north of Ames. The facility, recently renovated in 2018 includes a well-manicured 18-hole golf course, a heated pool with zero depth entry, two pickleball courts, one tennis court, a year round Trackman golf simulator and a beautiful clubhouse.
